Transitioning from Student to Associate Membership

Negotiating Student and Associate Memberships

Moving from Student Membership to Associate Membership can be somewhat confusing when your student status has ended, but your Registrar Program has not yet been approved by AHPRA. In this situation we recommend you join ACPA or renew your membership as a Student Member, providing evidence of your enrolment in a post-graduate degree in clinical psychology for the period just past. This is cost free. Once your Registrar Program is approved complete a Change Your Membership Category Form to move to Associate Membership status and send evidence of the Registrar Program approval to support this form. You will be upgraded free of charge.

Please note, all renewals fall due on the anniversary of the date of joining.
